Das pep ist nun das gr\u00f6\u00dfte M\u00fcnchner Einkaufszentrum (17.05.2018) \u00a9 Thomas Irlbeck<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Unser pep (Perlacher Einkaufs-Paradies) wird gr\u00f6\u00dfer und sch\u00f6ner. Wenn aber das Grundst\u00fcck schon ausgereizt ist, wird es schwer, mehr L\u00e4den und Ladenfl\u00e4che unterzubringen. Doch man hatte hier eine gute Idee: Das Parkhaus Nord war marode. Anstatt es zu sanieren oder es eins zu eins neu zu errichten, konstruiert man den Nachfolgebau nun mit zus\u00e4tzlichen Etagen. So hat man ein w\u00fcrdiges Nachfolgeparkhaus und gleichzeitig Platz f\u00fcr weitere Ladenfl\u00e4chen. Es entstehen 7.900 m2 zus\u00e4tzliche Verkaufsfl\u00e4chen Der Textil-Discounter Primark soll hier einziehen (dieser erh\u00e4lt mit 6.000 m\u00b2 den L\u00f6wenanteil), die Drogerie M\u00fcller sowie weitere L\u00e4den und auch Gastronomie. Das alte pep-Konzept der zwei oberirdischen Etagen (Erdgeschoss und erstes Stockwerk) wird aufgegeben, der Erweiterungsbau wird auf drei oberirdischen Verkaufsetagen basieren, bietet also noch zus\u00e4tzlich ein 2. Das alte Parkhaus wurde ab M\u00e4rz 2016 abgerissen (Neuperlach.org berichtete), jetzt zieht man gerade den neuen Bau nach oben. Die Bilder zeigen den Stand der Bauarbeiten.<\/p>\n<p>Es soll aber nicht nur neu gebaut werden, sondern auch das bestehende Geb\u00e4ude modernisiert und aufgeh\u00fcbscht werden. Konkret sollen Decken, Beleuchtung und M\u00f6blierung erneuert werden.<\/p>\n<p>Inwieweit das pep das gr\u00f6\u00dfte M\u00fcnchner Einkaufszentrum ist, gibt es unterschiedliche Angaben. In der Wikipedia hei\u00dft es, mit rund 120 L\u00e4den und 60.000 m\u00b2 Nutzfl\u00e4che sei das pep bereits heute das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Einkaufszentrum M\u00fcnchens. Die offizielle pep-Website gibt sich aber bescheidener und sieht das pep nur als das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Einkaufszentrum im M\u00fcnchner Osten.<\/p>\n<p>Wie auch immer, nach der Erweiterung wird das pep auf jeden Fall das gr\u00f6\u00dfte M\u00fcnchner Einkaufszentrum sein. Er\u00f6ffnung soll im Fr\u00fchjahr 2018 sein. 135 L\u00e4den werden dann zum Shoppen einladen.<br \/>\nEs geht noch viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer<\/p>\n<p>Freilich gibt es noch viel gr\u00f6\u00dfere Einkaufszentren. Das weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte ist die Dubai Mall mit 1.200 L\u00e4den und 350.000 m\u00b2. Die imposanten 95 Aufz\u00fcge und 150 Rolltreppen lassen ahnen, dass man hier nicht klein denkt. Aus Umweltgesichtspunkten wenig \u00fcberzeugend ist jedoch die zum Einkaufszentrum geh\u00f6rige Eislaufbahn, die auch bei 40 Grad Au\u00dfentemperatur in Betrieb ist.<\/p>\n<figure
